As Metro Detroit begins celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, the Westland Police Department would

like to remind our citizens to celebrate this holiday safely.

We would like to encourage everyone to keep our roads safe this holiday by keeping them clear

of impaired drivers. Designating a sober driver on this holiday or utilizing ride-share services such

as Uber/Lyft is a great way to ensure your safety, as well as other motorists on the road.

While the green beer is flowing on this holiday, officers of the Westland PD will be out protecting our roads.

Happy St. Patrick’s day to all, and please be safe!
