The Dearborn Police is asking for the community’s help to identify two suspects involved in an alleged burglary of a building on the city’s west side. A building under construction located at 1031 Mason Street was allegedly broken into on Sunday, January 8 between the hours of 4:30-6:30 p.m.
There were two subjects reported entering the building through an unlocked door and purportedly stole various tools and items, including a Stihl saw cutter, 6 Rigid drills, a Bosch laser measure, a nail gun, drywall, a hand saw, plumbing tools and others. They were seen by surveillance video located in the building.
There were two suspects noted via surveillance footage. The first is a male wearing a black hoodie, black jacket, gray pants, black shoes and carrying a black backpack with a white and red patch.
The second suspect is a female wearing a black winter hat, black hoodie with white writing on the front, gray pants and black shoes. She is wearing a custom sweatshirt with the wording “Westside Barbell” on the front and “Westside” on each arm.
The suspects were observed placing the items from the scene in a large container with wheels, then pushing the container east through the alley toward the parking lot.
No vehicle was seen in the surveillance and no one was harmed.
