It is time once again to “Deck the City Hall.” This year’s celebration will be the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Westland. The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7. Everyone will gather in front of City Hall to sing Christmas Carols and welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus to Westland. This year’s event will include sing-a-longs, cookies and cocoa and goodie bags for the children. Children are encouraged to write out their lists for Santa and bring them to the event to be placed in Santa’s Mailbox that goes direct to the North Pole. Letters can be dropped off up until Christmas Eve.
