The Westland Halloween Decorating Contest has begun! The contest will run from October 1st until midnight on October 31st. Residents can click below to nominate themselves or a friend in one or all of the three categories: Best Autumn Display, Best Spooky Display and Most Over the Top Display. Nominees will be asked to provide a picture along with their submission.
Winners will be recognized at the City Council meeting on Monday, November 20, 2023. All participants that don’t win will receive certificates for participating in the contest mailed to them.
This year we are continuing our tradition of Halloween decorating and I am looking forward to seeing all the creative and spooky ways our residents are celebrating Halloween.- Mayor Michael P. Londeau
