The City of Inkster has introduced a dedicated hotline for residents to report ordinance violations such as blight and property maintenance issues. The hotline can be reached at 313-741-5605 and operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

According to city officials, complaints made through the hotline will receive a follow-up within 72 business hours. Residents are encouraged to provide supporting photos by emailing blight@cityofinkster.com.

City representatives clarified that the Ordinance Hotline is not intended for emergencies. In urgent or emergency situations, individuals should call 911.

A statement from the city said, “By using the Ordinance Hotline, you help keep our community safe, clean, and thriving. Together, we can ensure that Inkster remains a place we are all proud to call home.”

This initiative aims to make it easier for residents to report concerns about ordinance violations and support efforts to maintain community standards.
