Mayor Mo Baydoun recently hosted an “end of shift” luncheon at City Hall to recognize the efforts of the city’s Public Works Department staff. The event aimed to show appreciation for the department’s employees and their contributions to the community.

“These ladies and gentlemen work like crazy – and they’re totally dedicated to helping our residents and businesses. I truly believe they are the best in the business – I appreciate all their hard work!” Mayor Baydoun said.

The Public Works Department, located on Van Born Road, employs about 40 people who handle various responsibilities for the city.
