Wayne State men's golf team honored with GCAA academic awards

Wayne State University men's golf team members Mat Hawryluk, Max Leppelmeier, and Ian Smith were named 2023-24 Cobalt All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on July 25. Subsequently, on July 30, the Warriors were recognized as one of 47 Division II programs to receive the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award.
