Charter County of Wayne Michigan issued the following announcement on July 6.
The Wayne County Commission on July 2 adopted a resolution calling out racism in all its forms as a major public health issue and outlining plans that commissioners said will help bring change to the county, communities and the nation.
“This something that is so important and so very relevant to how we are living now,” said Wayne County Commission Chair Alisha Bell, who sponsored the resolution.
