City of Westland issued the following announcement on July 14.
Road Closures
CSX Corp. will be upgrading multiple railroad crossings between July 19th and July 26th. The roads that the railroad crossings are on will be closed to all traffic in both directions. Please make sure to plan your driving routes accordingly.
The railroad crossings being upgraded are:
- Crossing on Cherry Hill Road between Newburgh Road and South John Hix Road
- Crossing on Glenwood Road between South Wayne Road and South Newburgh Road
