City of Dearborn Heights issued the following announcement on July 18.
Sunday July 18, XS-TRASH Norman Salehcontinue to comb through Dearborn Heights to pick-up flood debris. If you have remaining curbside flood debris, please contact the mayor directly with your name, address, and phone number at Mayor Bill Bazzi.
To help facilitate the process for victims of flood damage, please do NOT include home renovation debris that is NOT a result of the flood.
Unwanted home furniture and household appliances that were NOT affected by the flood should be disposed of using other means or donated to local non-profits.
Please do NOT place any paint or chemicals among the items to be picked-up.
