City of Wayne, Michigan Police Department issued the following announcement on July 31.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by Kroger to donate food to the First Responder Food Drive!! We filled a huge box with food that will be donated to Forgotten Harvest. Officer Williams, Chief Strong, and Zeke were on hand to help collect donations. An extra thanks to everyone who took the time to give Zeke some extra pets.
As a reminder, we will be collecting food again next Saturday from 11am-3pm. Same place - Kroger at Michigan / Merriman.
