The City and Priority Waste will conduct a special citywide pickup of storm debris next Saturday, March 18. This special pick-up is for natural debris (fallen

branches, shrubs, etc.) from recent storms and not any other discarded materials.

In order to be picked up, the debris must be cut into five-foot lengths and have a diameter not greater than six inches. All debris needs to be placed at the curb – not

in the street – by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17. Any storm debris not readied for this pickup event will need to wait until normal yard waste pickup begins the week

of April 3.

For more information, contact the Dearborn Heights Department of Public Works at 791-6000 during normal business hours.
