Former Divine Child High School player and current Grand Valley State Lakers right handed pitcher, Owen Avery, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Maryville Saints.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
