Head coach Tim Koth and the Wayne State University volleyball program have released the schedule for the 2024 season. The team will compete in 26 regular-season matches, including 24 against Midwest Region teams, with 16 being part of GLIAC action and 11 home games at the Matthaei Center.

"We are very much looking forward to the start of the 2024 season and our competitive schedule," said Koth. "This non-conference schedule affords us an opportunity to play competition that should help to both prepare us for conference play, and if we are successful, set us up well within the region when looking down the line at possible postseason play. The GLIAC will be extremely competitive again this season. I think you will have to be at your best every night in order to achieve success. We look forward to that challenge."

The fall campaign begins on September 6-7 with three matches over two days during the Warrior Invitational, where Wayne State has a historical record of 22-6 from previous tournaments. The team will face Frostburg State and Northwood on Friday, followed by Ohio Dominican on Saturday. Next, WSU continues its non-conference matches at Parkside's Hampton Inn Invitational on September 13-14 in Kenosha against Upper Iowa, Lake Erie, Ohio Dominican, and Northern State.

In GLIAC play, Wayne State will encounter Davenport, Ferris State, Saginaw Valley State, Lake Superior State, Grand Valley State, and first-year GLIAC member Roosevelt twice each — once at home and once away. Single regular-season meetings are scheduled against Purdue Northwest (away), Parkside (away), Michigan Tech (home), and Northern Michigan (home). These league matches surround WSU's participation in the Midwest Regional Crossover in Hammond, Indiana on October 18-19.

The regular season concludes on November 15 at Roosevelt. Following this, the top four seeds will host a GLIAC Tournament quarterfinal contest on November 20. The winners advance to semifinals and finals hosted by the top remaining seed from November 23-24.
