The Wayne State University men's and women's cross country teams are set to participate in the SVSU Red October Meet. The event will take place at the SVSU Cross Country Course in University Center, Michigan, hosted by Saginaw Valley State.
The men's team will see eight student-athletes competing. These athletes include Parks Allen from Ithaca, Griffin Conway from Novi, Adam Hafeli from Lake Orion, Sam Martini from Casnovia/Kent City, Donald O'Keefe from Troy, Anthony Vinson from Macomb/Utica Eisenhower, and Andrew Yax from Clio.
On the women's side, Wayne State will be represented by seven runners: Natalie Davies from Chelsea, Annalise Elliott from Sparta/Cedar Springs, Rachel Felstow from Leonard/Romeo, Remi Flanz from Eastpointe/Fraser High School/Macomb Math Science and Technology Center, Sarah Greb from Washington/Romeo, Layla Martini also hailing from Casnovia/Kent City like her male counterpart Sam Martini, and Meagan Verellen from Shelby Township/Utica.
The men's race is scheduled to start at 11:00 A.M., followed by the women's race at 11:45 A.M.
