Wayne State University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been recognized with Scholar All-America honors for the Fall term by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). This accolade reflects the teams' dedication to both their sport and academic success.

Head coach Sean Peters expressed his pride in the team's achievements, stating, "The Warriors keep impressing everyone with their commitment to, not only the many hours devoted to swimming and diving, but the hours and commitment devoted to academic success." He also acknowledged the contributions of academic liaisons Kelsey Voss, Kayla Papp, and Kim Clexton, describing them as "a tremendous resource for everyone in the department."

The CSCAA recognized a total of 783 teams from 461 institutions based on their Fall 2023 team grade point averages. These teams collectively represent 18,716 student-athletes. The organization also highlighted that nineteen conferences, including GLIAC, had all their men's or women's teams listed on the Scholar All-America Team.

The CSCAA was established in 1922 as the first organization of college coaches in the nation. Its mission is to promote swimming and diving through leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
