The Wayne State University women's swimming and diving team maintained its position in second place at the 2024 GLIAC Championships, held in Holland, Michigan. The team's performance was highlighted by individual titles from Jordan Fox in the 200 free and Mikaela Senkus in the 3-meter dive. The Warriors aim to continue their strong showing during Sunday's preliminaries.

"We are at the halfway point and seeing a lot of amazing and heroic performances by so many Warriors," said head coach Sean Peters. "We saw Alli Vassilakos set a meet record in the 1000 free, we saw Clayton Kinnard really come on strong in his 200 IM, and we got to see Jordan Fox win the 200 free against an impressive field. With diving, Mikaela Senkus turned in her most impressive performance this year with a victory in three meter diving. It has been a terrific meet for the Warriors and we're looking forward to the second half."
