Four student-athletes from Wayne State University's women's swimming and diving team have been honored with Academic All-District recognition by College Sports Communicators (CSC). This accolade acknowledges their accomplishments both in athletics and academics.

Graduate student Jordan Fox, a former Third Team Academic All-American, received six All-American titles in 2024, including four First Team and two Second Team honors. She was also named the 2024 GLIAC Swimmer of the Year. Fox has maintained a spot on the Academic Honor Roll for nine semesters, achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher in eight terms.

Senior Barbara Munoz participated in seven events at the NCAA Division II National Championships, earning First Team All-American status. At the GLIAC Championships, she became a seven-time All-GLIAC honoree. Munoz has consistently been on the Academic Honor Roll during her time at Wayne State University.

Mikaela Senkus earned First Team All-American honors as a national runner-up in both one-meter and three-meter diving competitions this year. The Civil Engineering major has been recognized on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll every semester, achieving four perfect 4.00 terms.

Junior Alli Vassilakos achieved three First Team All-American awards this year along with one Second Team honor. She was also a five-time All-GLIAC honoree at the conference championships. Vassilakos has maintained her position on the Academic Honor Roll since transferring to Wayne State University.

According to CSC's release: "The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming/Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom." These athletes will be considered for advancement to CSC's Academic All-America ballot.

First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees are scheduled to be announced on April 23, 2024.
