Wayne State University is set to host a series of women's basketball team camps in June. The events are scheduled for the 17th, 18th, and 20th and will cater to high school teams from grades 9 to 12.
Teams participating on June 17 and June 18 will play two games each day between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. The cost for one day is $175, while attending both days costs $325. On June 20, the competition will include three games per team from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with an entry fee of $225.
All games will be officiated by MHSAA certified officials. Participation is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Coaches must provide reliable contact information along with payment upon registration; rosters are requested but not mandatory.
Schools have the option to participate across all three days of the camp. During the initial two days, teams will have a maximum two-hour break between games to reduce waiting times. The final day of the camp features a tournament-style format.
Coaches will receive their team's schedule approximately one week before the event via email provided at registration.
Games are set to take place at both WSU Fieldhouse and Matthaei gymnasium, which share a parking lot for convenience. Wayne State University camp staff will be present at both locations, ensuring that each team plays at least one game in each gym.
