Ten members of the Wayne State University men's cross country team, along with a recent alumnus, Antonio Chapa, participated in the GVSU Big Meet on February 9. The event took place in Allendale, Michigan.
The Warriors competed in five different heats of the 5K race. Graduate student Ransom Allen achieved a third-place finish in heat #1 with a time of 14:15.99.
Below are the recorded times for each WSU competitor:
Ethan Pruzinsky completed his run with a time of 15:06.94, while Jared Platt finished at 15:08.23. Kenny Minto and Brady Heron both set personal records (PR) with times of 15:18.01 and 15:19.10 respectively.
Jeremy Cavallo also marked a PR at 15:27.03, followed by Antonio Chapa who clocked in at 15:28.43.
Griffin Conway won his heat and achieved a personal best with a time of 15:36.34. Gabe Trevino set another PR for himself at 15:43.52.
Aidan Lobsinger completed his race in 15:59.79, achieving yet another personal record for the team, while Anthony Vinson finished at 16:08.42.
