Wayne State University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to host matches against Findlay on Friday at 1 PM, followed by a meet with both Findlay and Northern Michigan on Saturday morning at 10 AM. The Wayne State men's team holds the 18th position in the CSCAA's preseason poll, while both Findlay and Northern Michigan are tied for the 10th spot. On the women's side, Wayne State is ranked 19th, with Findlay at 17th and Northern Michigan at 10th.

In recent competitions, Wayne State's men defeated No. 21 Davenport on October 18 with a score of 135-103. The women's team also secured a victory against the No. 13 Panthers with a score of 147-90. Additionally, the Warrior women won against Hillsdale on October 12, scoring 117-83.

Findlay's team is led by Diego Santos, who took over as head coach on June 15, 2023, after serving in various assistant roles within the program. His assistant coach is Daniela Navarrete Villegas. Northern Michigan's team is under the guidance of Heidi Voigt, who has been head coach for fifteen years and has earned five GLIAC Coach of the Year awards. Her coaching staff includes Matt Williams as associate head coach, Christopher Kelly as head diving coach, and Grant Combs as a student assistant.

After this week's events, Wayne State will participate in Davenport's Don Kimble Invitational from November 22 to November 24. Details regarding times and opponents for this event are yet to be announced.
