The Wayne State University men's and women's tennis teams have achieved notable rankings from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) following their fall season. The ITA released the polls on November 13.

For the men's team, Cedric Drenth, George Day, and Tom Wasner received regional recognition. Drenth ranked second in the region, Day fourth, and Wasner eighth. Additionally, Drenth and Day were ranked second regionally as a doubles team. This marks Drenth's fourth consecutive year appearing in regional rankings, consistently ranking in doubles and individually for three years.

Nationally, Drenth secured the 13th spot while Day was ranked 48th individually. Together, they achieved a ninth-place national ranking as a doubles pair.

On the women's side, four Warriors were recognized regionally for individual and doubles play. Anais Ruyssen ranked third, Martyna Szpakowska fourth, Malak Arafat 18th, and Dea Gorgidze 19th. In doubles play, Arafat and Szpakowska topped the regional standings with Ruyssen and Gorgidze following closely at second place.

Nationally, Arafat and Szpakowska were ranked fifth in doubles while Ruyssen and Gorgidze placed 12th. Individually, Ruyssen was ranked 25th and Szpakowska 34th.

Both teams are set to resume action in February for the spring season. The men's team will host Lawrence Tech on February 2 while the women's team will travel to Indianapolis on February 8.
