Several members of the Wayne State University men's cross country team participated in the GVSU Big Meet held on Friday in Allendale, Michigan. Among the competitors, many athletes achieved personal records in their respective events.
A total of twelve runners from Wayne State took part in the men's 5K race. In section #5, Sean Pettis secured a fifth-place finish with a time of 14:52.88, and Jared Platt came in tenth at 14:59.11.
Ethan Pruzinsky ran in section #3 and finished 17th with a time of 14:57.12. Meanwhile, Griffin Conway completed his run in section #7, finishing 11th with a time of 15:16.73.
In section #8, Gabe Trevino achieved second place with a time of 15:23.89, followed by Adam Hafeli and Ian Lewis who placed 20th and 21st respectively, recording times of 15:53.52 and 16:02.26.
Anthony Vinson ran in section #9 where he finished fifth at 15:27.80, while Tyler Brothers took tenth place with a time of 15:34.07 and Andrew Yax was close behind at thirteenth with a time of 15:35.99.
Aidan Lobsinger competed in section #10 and placed sixth with a time of 15:45.53; Kenny Minto concluded his race placing twenty-third at 16:37.55.
