Wayne State University's women's swimming and diving team completed the second day of preliminaries at the 2025 GLIAC Championships held at the Holland Aquatic Center. The event saw nine student-athletes from WSU advance to the finals scheduled for Thursday evening.

In the 100 fly category, none of Wayne State's swimmers advanced. Maddy Flynn finished in 17th place with a time of 59.13 seconds, followed by Julia Katulski in 18th place at 59.60 seconds. Megan Unger and Rose Haney finished in 25th and 26th places with times of 1:02.32 and 1:04.78, respectively.

The school saw success in the 400 IM, where three athletes advanced to the championship finals with NCAA B Cut times: Elly Belmore placed fifth at 4:27.60, Barbara Munoz sixth at 4:28.54, and Emma Crispo seventh at 4:30.54. Delaney Parker and Diana Muccioli advanced to the consolation finals after finishing in positions thirteen and fourteen with times of 4:35.10 and 4:35.83, respectively.

In contrast, Megan Delaere and Madelyn Peura did not advance past this stage, ending their runs in eighteenth (4:45.32) and twenty-first places (4:58.86).

The team's performance continued positively in the 200 free event as Alli Vassilakos secured a spot in the championship finals by finishing sixth with a time of 1:53.45, closely followed by Emily Hedley who came seventh clocking in at 1:54.36.

Kate Rhodes and Danika Fessenden both advanced to the consolation finals with times of 1:56.87 for fifteenth place and Fessenden securing sixteenth place just behind her teammate.
