Head coach Larry Hamilton shared his comments on the team's performance, stating, "Really like where we're at after day one. We definitely would've liked to get a couple of them back that we left out there, but feel good heading into the final round tomorrow."
The team has had success throughout the season with multiple players ranking in the top 10 at several tournaments. No player has achieved such placement during the spring season yet. Portillo and Kuo were previously in the top 10 in consecutive fall tournaments, with Imesch also securing a spot in the final fall event.
