Wednesday, March 5: Divine Child High School standout Owen Avery’s college team loses to Shorter Hawks

On Wednesday, March 5, former Divine Child High School standout Owen Avery’s current college team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Shorter Hawks.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 7:15 p.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Northwood Timberwolves.
