The Wayne State University women's golf team will compete in its third tournament of the fall season at Ferris State University's Bulldog Fall Classic. The event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan, with 14 teams participating and each playing 18 holes per day.
Wayne State's lineup includes Sonia Bayahya from Casablanca, Morocco; Orianna Bylsma from Montague, Michigan; Ting-Yu Kuo from Taipei, Taiwan; Clara Laffitte from Montevideo, Uruguay; and Claudia Portillo from Madrid, Spain.
Other schools joining the field are Ashland, Davenport, Ferris State, Gannon, Grand Valley State, Kentucky Wesleyan, Northern Michigan, Purdue Northwest, Saginaw Valley State, Saint Mary's (Ind.), Tiffin, Walsh and Wheeling.
