The Warrior Sports Network (WSN), which began operations this fall, will provide audio broadcasts for more than 50 regular-season Wayne State University basketball games during the 2025-26 season. The broadcasts will cover both men's and women's teams, and all game audio is available at no cost through the network's online platform.
All 27 men's basketball games are scheduled to air on WSN. Kevin Brechmacher, who has served as play-by-play broadcaster for a decade, will continue in his role. He will be joined for home games by former Wayne State basketball players Andy Dold, Chuck Key, and Marcus Moore on a rotating basis.
In addition to WSN coverage, every Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) basketball game—including all home games from the WSU Fieldhouse—will be available on FloHoops. Those interested in viewing these streams can subscribe to FloCollege (FloHoops) via the provided link.
Brechmacher is also set to broadcast every away GLIAC game for the women’s team. Home contests for women’s basketball will feature different play-by-play announcers such as Brady Beedon and Sean Baligian. This weekend’s women’s matches against Malone on Friday and Ashland on Saturday will be called by Tom Cavanaugh from Ohio.
Tony Ortiz, a veteran broadcaster from Detroit, will serve as sideline reporter for most home games aired on both FloHoops and WSN.
During the football season earlier this year, WSN reported an audience of over 3,000 listeners.
