The team made up of John Glenn High School staff took our Westland Police Department (the Non-Dunkin Donuts)

to school in a Charity Basketball Game to raise scholarship money for John Glenn Students. The game started out

very competitive for a couple quarters….and then the John Glenn staff kicked it into Rocket speed and won comfortably

in this very fun and worthy charity game. Special thanks to Coach/Officer Margie Kelly and Officer Ryan Damico for organizing

the game for the Westland Police Community Partnership along with the staff of John Glenn High School and Wayne-Westland

Community Schools. Monies were made with a 50/50 drawing and a crowd interactive 3 point contest to win a prize basket including

gift cards from 2Booli 2Go Westland and Buffalo Wild Wings Westland. To check out the game, be sure to watch WLND and our YouTub

Channel to catch some of the great 3 point shooting and excellent play by both teams in the next couple of weeks.
