This weekend the Westland Police Department faced off against the John Glenn High School teachers in a charity basketball game.

Although, the score didn’t go in our favor, everyone involved had a great time and we raised nearly $700! In addition, the Westland

Police Committee Partnership Committee will match the $700 raising a total of $1400 for the John Glenn High School scholarship program.

If you missed out on the basketball game we will try to claim our revenge next month when we take on John Glenn HS in a softball game.

All money raised from the softball game will also be donated as a scholarship.
