Wayne State announces fall schedule for women’s golf team

Fifth-year head coach Larry Hamilton and the Wayne State University women’s golf program have released their fall schedule for the 2025-26 season. The team will participate in six two-day tournaments during September and October, before transitioning to the spring portion of their season.

The 12th season of Wayne State women’s golf begins on September 8-9 with Saginaw Valley State’s Cardinal Cup at Saginaw Country Club. Following this, they will compete on September 13-14 at Champions Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio, for Ohio Dominican’s Champions of Women’s Golf Classic. On September 22-23, the Green and Gold will host their second annual Warrior Invitational at Orchards Golf Club in Washington, Michigan.

The Warriors will conclude September by participating in Ferris State’s Lady Bulldog Fall Invitational on September 27-28 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. In October, Wayne State will take part in Findlay’s William Beall Fall Classic on October 6-7 at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio, followed by the Davenport Panther Invitational on October 11-12 at Stonehedge North Golf Course in Augusta, Michigan.

Stonehedge North is also set to host the GLIAC Championships from April 16-19.
