The Wayne State Warriors football program will launch the third season of its podcast, “Weekly with Wheatley,” on Tuesday, September 2. The event will take place at Woodbridge Pub and begin at 5:30 p.m.
Head football coach Tyrone Wheatley will be joined by Brady Beedon for each episode. Beedon is in his fifth year as the WSU football radio analyst and also hosts the Locker Room Report and Senior Spotlight interviews during football radio broadcasts.
Recordings are scheduled for September 2, September 24, October 1, October 15, and October 29. Each week, a different assistant coach and student-athlete from the football team will participate in the show alongside Wheatley and Beedon.
Episodes will be taped before a live audience. For those unable to attend in person, the podcast will be posted on the Wayne State athletics website every Friday morning, except for the first week when it will be available earlier due to a Thursday game.
