City of Westland recently issued the following announcement.

The Disabilities Concerns Committee is governed by a five (5) member committee appointed by the Mayor. Members are appointed to three (3) year terms. The Committee promotes the involvement and acknowledgment of the concerns of disabled citizens through research, education and encouragement. Committee members or their family members have a disability covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Committee meets the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 36300 Warren Road.
All meetings are open to the public and citizens will have a reasonable opportunity to be heard.
Instructions for Public Comments:
Normal public comment protocols will be followed.
In order to insure reasonable accessibility, Individuals with disabilities or who require special accommodations, auxiliary aids or services to attend or participate in this program should contact (734) 467-3263 during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Reasonable advanced notice is required.
