The Wayne State University baseball team, led by head coach Ryan Kelley in his 17th year, has added four new players to its roster through transfers. The incoming athletes include Aidan Arbogast, Ty Garza, Noah Murciano, and Caleb Sanders.

Aidan Arbogast joins the Warriors as a first baseman and outfielder. Originally from Livonia, Michigan, he played at Eastern Michigan last season where he participated in 25 games and achieved a batting average of .297. Arbogast also brings experience from Mid-Michigan Community College and Kellogg Community College.

Ty Garza is an infielder hailing from Grosse Ile, Michigan. Before joining Wayne State, Garza was redshirted at Barton College in 2024 after playing 22 games for them in 2023. His high school career at Grosse Ile High School saw him set multiple records and earn All-State First Team honors.

Noah Murciano comes in as a catcher from Richmond Hill, Ontario. Last season he played for Coppin State where he appeared in 30 games with a batting average of .250. Murciano has also played for Sussex County Community College before moving to Coppin State.

Caleb Sanders is an outfielder from Eastpointe, Michigan. He transferred from Dayton where he appeared in five games last season. During his high school years at Detroit Edison Public School Academy, Sanders earned First Team All-State honors.

Wayne State University's baseball program aims to strengthen its lineup with these additions as they prepare for the upcoming season under Coach Kelley's leadership.
