DETROIT -- Head coach Ryan Kelley and the Wayne State University baseball program will host a Prospect Camp on Saturday, October 5. The event will take place at Harwell Field as well as the Doris J. & Donald L. Duchene, Sr. Athletic Facility. Check-in starts at 9:00 AM with the showcase beginning at 9:30 AM and running until 4:30 PM. Pitcher-only check-in times will be communicated prior to the camp. This prospect camp is for high school-age students (2024-2028 graduates) and junior college players.

DETROIT -- Junior right-handed pitcher Griffin Kilander of the Wayne State University baseball program was selected in the 16th round (477th overall) of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday by the Boston Red Sox. Kilander is the first Warrior to be drafted since Hunter Brown of the Houston Astros in 2019.
