Wayne State University's men's basketball program is set to host two Team Camps in June. The camps will be held on June 8-9 and June 21-22. These events provide high school varsity teams the opportunity to compete in a collegiate setting at the WSU Fieldhouse.
The camps are designed for high school varsity basketball teams, offering four games guaranteed over the two days, with each team playing two games per day. Games will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with registration starting at 7 a.m.
Each camp will feature MHSAA certified officials, and concessions will be available throughout the day. Participants are required to complete necessary forms, including a Concussion Information Sheet, Consent to Treatment and Waiver, and Sports Camp Health Form.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Coaches need to provide reliable contact information during registration and may choose to register their teams for one or both weekends.
Games will take place at both the WSU Fieldhouse and Matthaei gymnasium, which share a parking lot. Teams can expect to play at least one game in each location. Schedules will be communicated approximately one week before the event via email.
