The Wayne State University men's tennis team concluded its fall season by hosting the Third Annual Mike Kneale Memorial Doubles Tournament on Friday. The event, held in Detroit, featured teams from the University of Findlay and Tiffin University.

Wayne State finished with a 10-9 record at the tournament. The pair of George Day and Thomas Mathys achieved a 3-1 record, earning runner-up honors. Two other duos, Luis Klaus with Harry Forsyth and Sam Knowles with Tom Wasner, each posted 2-1 records. Additional results included Klaus partnering with Warren Gunnar for a win, Benjamin Hill and Gunnar going 1-2, Cole Anderson teaming up with Max Faniel for a 1-3 mark, and Hill with Forsyth finishing 0-1.

Wayne State is scheduled to host both Tiffin University (the Dragons) and the University of Findlay (the Oilers) again in February for two matches.

Looking ahead, the team will begin its spring season on January 17 with an exhibition match at Western Michigan in Kalamazoo.
