DETROIT -- The 2023-24 Wayne State University men's basketball team has been honored with a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award. Individually, redshirt sophomore guard Justin Ross and senior guard Kaimen Lennox were named to the NABC Honors Court.
Wayne State University head cross country coach Grant Lofdahl has signed three incoming freshmen to complete his class of 2024 for the women's cross country program. DETROIT -- Ransom Allen of the Wayne State University men's cross country team was named a College Sports Communicators (CSC, formerly CoSIDA) First Team Academic All-American on Wednesday afternoon. After a Second Team selection for the 2021 season and a First Team nod in 2022, Allen joins Elly Maleski (swimming) as the school's only three-time honorees in the 72-year history of the Academic All-America program.
